Helping Women Over 40 Understand Their Blood Work and Take Charge of Their Health

I almost died at 42 ... yet for the next five years,

I kept hearing the same thing: 'Everything looks normal.'

In April 2002, I found myself in a medically induced coma with one lung 100% full of fluid; the other 75% full.

I was hooked up to breathing tubes, feeding tubes … all the tubes!

Doctors told my family to prepare for the worst; they didn’t think I was going to survive and if I did, I would have permanent brain damage.

Well … I DID survive and I do not have brain damage. I left the hospital weighing just 92 pounds, dependent on oxygen, using a walker … and I was determined to get my life back.

For the next five years, I searched for answers while doctor after doctor assured me everything looked "normal." Yet I knew my body was telling a different story. I refused to believe that feeling exhausted, weak, and unlike myself was my new normal.

Everything changed when a holistic NP looked at my blood work through a functional lens. She looked at how my body was functioning as a whole. For the first time, I understood why I still didn't feel like myself … and finally had a roadmap for moving forward.

That experience not only transformed my health … it became my mission.

Today, I help women over 40 who know something feels "off" understand what their blood work may be revealing about their overall wellness. Using my signature Personal Wellness Roadmap™, I educate and guide them in creating personalized lifestyle strategies so they can feel more energized, confident, and in control of their health.

Because I've lived both sides of the story, I know what it feels like to be told you're "fine" when you know you're not.

I also know what's possible when you finally understand what your body has been trying to tell you.

  • Experienced in collaborative work with independent healthcare professionals

  • Regular participant in advanced training and continuing education

  • Crazy dog lover who fostered 70 dogs from shelters so they could find loving families

  • Packed up her dogs and her car at 65 and moved to Florida from Rhode Island

Testimonials

Michelle is a great listener and offers valuable tips which you won't get from any doctor. I was having sleep difficulties and she recommended magnesium before bedtime. What a difference!

I also learned so much about reducing inflammation. If you want to take charge of your health, you need to get in touch with Michelle to find out some simple changes you can make in your life that will have a really big impact.

Michelle is amazing at follow-up and listening to what you are saying. She was the first to ask a lot of questions about how I was feeling and helped me to avoid taking statins.

She does an amazing job at follow-up. She continues to check in and see how the protocol is working and if it might need a tweak.

I will be forever grateful for working with Michelle and continuing working with her.

Michelle is helpful without being pushy. She takes the time to learn about your specific goals and purpose. For me, I wanted to clear some skin issues and set better eating examples for my son, she was realistic in my expectations and made several recommendations. She’s great at communicating and giving other resources for others to explore!
